Change The Paradigm was a refreshing, powerful, and pleasantly surprising read. I haven't read an abundance of religious books; however, I was wrong to think this was all this book was, it took me places I never expected. I was charmingly surprised by the content on how leading with compassion and hope instead of the typical belittling and empty business leaders that tend to put people down causing them to lose hope and feeling disillusioned which reduces their productivity. This book came to me at the perfect time; although I may not be in the position to tell my leaders to change their ways, I can certainly lead by example and hope they catch on. I work very hard to try to live my life actually very similar to how the author spoke about the need for leaders with words of support, hope, and inspiration which I owe to be raised by such loving parents. I am going to start putting in motion the way I live my life in my work place as well, for there is no need for anyone to live their life miserably. This book was well written, brilliantly detailed and very elegant and charming. I believe all those currently in leadership roles and those who plan to be future leaders should read this book, it will transform how you interact with others in all aspects of your life. I highly recommend this book for everyone looking to put more hope, healing and compassion in your life and/or trying to help others with that same pursuit.Product details

Raymond Wheeler opened my eyes to not only see my current paradigm, but also to lead me to make the changes I wanted to embrace the paradigm of servant leadership. This book gives an in depth understanding of leadership and culture providing great resources, while at the same time remaining practical and offering simple steps to keep you moving forward.
As a leader and leadership trainer for the last 13 years I have read hundreds of books on leadership. This is not leadership rehashed. It's a fresh perspective and will encourage you to think deeply about your own leadership development and how to best grow the leaders in your area of influence.
Get this book. You will not be disappointed.
Both my wife and I bought a copy. Ray Wheeler has done a fabulous job of helping define leadership today. It is maybe the most comprehensive work on the subject. He writes in any easy to understand, yet thorough manner. You can tell the words are not theoretical, but come from a much deeper place in his own leadership and experience. This book comes from lots of "Praxis"- experience with reflection. Praxis makes this a deeply valuable resource on leadership.
There are an influx of preachy religious books these days, but despite the subtitle being “How to Lead Like Jesus” this is not one of those, but a book that helps manage efficiency and motivate in an uplifting and practical way on a day to day basis. Even a few chapters in I could already feel myself stimulated and eager to try out these new thought processes and tools to lead in my own life. Definitely a book I will go back and reread more and also dip in and out of on a regular basis. A great purchase and an enjoyable read. (This is an unbiased book review and the opinions given here are 100% my own.)
