this book is so adorable, but it did come with a couple little chips in the cover. I realize it's a book for babies though, so it will only get more messed up, but when working to get a nursery all ready and cute its upsetting when something arrives nicked. I know that we're going to get a lot of use out of this though since it is soo cute!
We have the pinwheel book which my LO is obsessed with. (5 months old currently). And since we were big dive fans, thought this would be fun. She's not nearly as interested. Hoping she grows into liking it. Love Salina Yoon. By far my fave children's author/illustrator.
My 17-month-old loves it! Opens to the main pages showing all the creatures underwater and points to every one. This would have been a five-star review, but the flaps tear off very easily. Fixed with double-sided tape then a layer of book tape, but wish I didn't have to. Otherwise this is a great book for the little one's collection.
This book is darling! We love Salina Yoon books in our house. My daughter is 2. Under the flaps contain facts about the different ocean creatures. Currently the facts go over my daughters head, but I am sure she will love that part of it in another 12 months.
I bought the Space Guide version at Adler Planetarium in Chi-town and my daughter 20months old - now knows her planets! lol So i could resist this one. (I going to buy the rest!)
The words are clear and easy to read, bright and colorful graphics keeps the kids attention.
I like this book. My 20 month daughter enjoys it. The book goes through several common ocean creatures and has a flip up page of each animal that my daughter likes flipping. Overall I would recommend for children between 1-3 years of age.
LOVED this book so much I bought it again for myself! The first copy I bought to donate at a preschool book event and honestly it is the cutest book ever! Not only is it educational but active with flip taps to show additional information about the ocean animals. BUY THIS BOOK! You won't regret it.
