This story is likeable however the writing style just didn't connect for me. This seemed more of an excerpt or a chapter of a story and perhaps it is just that per some of the other reviews, however if that's the case it wasn't insinuated at the end. I'd give the author another chance but I need more depth to the characters, and story without so many cliches used throughout.Product details

Excellent descriptive composition to this short story. I was interested in the two lead characters and how their relationship would develop after 7's finally declaring his love for Cat. I want MORE!! Keep writing Sam Waters .
I cannot wait for the next installment. This writer is pure gold. I was immediately swept up into the story as I began to read. The characters are intriguing, 3-D and far from flat. I feel like I know them, and I genuinely care what happens to them. Sam Waters is brilliant.
The Pendulous Hearts Cat has a mysteriousness that is made immediate by the 2nd paragraph. Sam Waters is very descriptive and pays a lot of attention to details, but still leaves so much for the imagination. I wanted more! Getting to know the characters and some of their history in the short time gave the story more depth and me itching to see what came next. This will definitely be on my "favorites" list.
My first time reading an e book, and I started with a winning story and author. Looking forward to reading what Mr. Waters has in store next!
It made me want more..more backstory, more on what happened..more, more more. I could picture her apartment...the ocean view....and the tension between these two...you KNOW there will be more happening. I sense some excitement and suspense coming in the next installment and I can't wait.

this spy story/romance. Wonderful descriptions of an exciting world of top secret missions, and the passionate people who make it happen.

This is a really good short story. It caught my imagination right away and kept it throughout. Can't wait for the next segment!
When I ordered this book, I was hoping for an engaging romance type story and was not disappointed! I'm anxious to read more from this author!
